Darío Esteban

Dario is a 4th and final year student at IE University majoring in Data and Business Analytics and Chair for the DISEC committee of URJCMUN’s 2026 edition. As an active MUNer since 2018, Dario has participated in conferences in around 5 countries and 2 continents, has been Secretary-General of IEUMUN 2024 and part of myMUN’s scholarship delegation team, racking up many awards and creating even more friendships across his more than 7 years doing MUN. As a Chair, Dario wishes to not only introduce many curious young diplomats to the world of International Relations and Diplomacy, but also to reinforce the passion for dialogue in those who are already part of this world.

Having an interdisciplinary background, Dario has always framed his discourse as a technical one, valuing the truth and solid arguments over appeals to emotion, even though he knows how to appreciate a good show or joke, among other flashy spectacles within speeches. Described as approachable and comprehensive by his peers, Dario has been known to create a welcoming and relaxed environment that still maintains professionality, having an iron fist when needed.

Estela Crespo

Estela is a final-year student of International Relations at Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). With previous experience in several Model of the United Nations simulations, joining the URJCmun chairing team was a dream come true, as it was through URJCmun that she first discovered the world of simulations.
Her main objective is to bring passion and determination to the committee, not only through her strong interest on international security and defense, but also through her genuine commitment to her academic and professional path.
Estela values dedication and professionalism, qualities that she wants to transmit to future delegations. She firmly believes that the knowledge acquired in classroom finds its true meaning when applied in debate and negotiation, where it can be truly understood and internalized.
